1. Information We Collect

When you use BirdieBooker, we collect the following information:

• -Name, email address, and phone number when making a booking
• -Account credentials (email and hashed password) if you create a BirdieBooker account
• -Booking history including course, date, time, and number of golfers
• -Golf profile and performance information, including handicap, scores, shot locations, club distances, and practice-plan activity
• -Swing-analysis inputs, including the portion of a swing video you select and body-pose information derived from it
• -Approximate or precise location when you choose location-based course, season, or on-course GPS features
• -Device push-notification token and notification preferences when you enable notifications
• -Payment information - processed and stored securely by Stripe; BirdieBooker does not store full card numbers
• -App subscription and entitlement information processed by Apple and RevenueCat
• -Session cookies to keep you signed in

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• -Process and confirm your tee time reservations
• -Send booking confirmation emails
• -Share your name, contact, and booking details with the golf course you've booked at
• -Maintain your account and booking history
• -Calculate golf statistics, shot patterns, plays-like distances, and personalized practice plans
• -Analyze the selected swing clip and movement information to provide swing ratings and coaching feedback
• -Provide location-based course and on-course GPS features when requested
• -Send the booking, plan, deal, and loyalty notifications you enable
• -Process payments and issue refunds through Stripe
• -Improve and operate the BirdieBooker platform

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• -With the golf course you have booked at, so they can manage your reservation
• -With Stripe, our payment processor, to complete transactions
• -With Apple and RevenueCat to process and manage app subscriptions
• -With contracted AI-processing providers to analyze the swing clip you submit for coaching feedback
• -With Expo to deliver push notifications when you enable them
• -With infrastructure and email providers that host BirdieBooker and deliver account or booking messages
• -If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of BirdieBooker and its users

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies and Sessions

BirdieBooker uses cookies on the website solely to maintain login sessions. The mobile app stores sign-in tokens securely in the device Keychain or Keystore. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal information.

5. Data Retention

Account-linked golf, swing, social, loyalty, token, and practice-plan data is removed when you delete your account in the mobile app. Booking records already provided to a golf course may be retained for operational, payment, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes, but are detached from your BirdieBooker account. Swing videos submitted for analysis are uploaded temporarily for processing and are not retained as source video files by BirdieBooker; the generated report is retained until the account is deleted.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure payment processing through Stripe. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may update notification choices, grant or revoke AI swing-analysis consent, and delete your account directly in the BirdieBooker mobile app. You can deny or revoke camera, photo, location, microphone, and notification access in device settings. You may also contact us to access or correct personal information. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional privacy rights.
